Former defense chiefs have questioned the UK's air defense capabilities, with Sir Michael Graydon, a former chief of the air staff, stating that Britain would be "at the mercy of Putin" in a war against Russia.

In order to better protect the citizens and deter any would-be attackers I believe the best course of action is to increase spending, research and development on fighter jets, plus air and missile defense systems.
