Ombudsman services give the impression they can make bodies and organisations accountable for their actions. However they have no power to ensure this occurs.

This petition asks:
1. All ombudsman services are given legal power to ensure their decisions are implemented
2. That all ombudsman become accountable and are regulated by the ministry of Justice
3. If ombudsman are not given legal powers and become regulated are disbanded, making way for a service that fully represents all stakeholders
