Increase budgets to police forces to allow them to actually operate effectively.
Including:
Having enough officers so that they do not need to be single crewed - this is a terrible risk to officers and should not be tolerated by them or us.
Having enough officers that they can respond to emergency calls and deal with people in a compassionate and caring way without being driven by time targets.
Have enough vehicles that they can actually attend calls rather than waiting for a car to be available.
Generally allowing the men and women of our police force to do they job they want to be able to do and protect the public.
