Petition Investigation of how the Terrorism Act is Applied
More details
This petition calls for an inquiry into how the Terrorism Act 2000 is applied in relation to MI5 potentially radicalizing British Muslims through harassment, arbitrary restrictions on freedom and allowing torture to be used in other countries
Whilst we, the signatories understand that some of this information is strictly classified and confidential, we call for assessment of whether the current means are having a counter effect on the lives of British citizens, and for as much information from this inquiry as possible, to be made public.
We, the British Public, feel we have a right to know whether the counter terrorism strategy is having a damning effect on the lives of innocent civilians
This petition closed early because of a General Election
