We make this request to ask you waive the refund of erroneous payments made to servicemen for awarded Accelerated Incremental Progression.
These payments were made in good faith. It has now been decided that some payments were made erroneously and that the MoD recover those payments, placing many servicemen in serious debt, as high as £19,000. The servicemen were not responsible for these payments yet are being held accountable. We ask you to waive the recovery of these payments as the error was not made by the servicemen.
