Because many people are now paid a salary, ie, monthly, it means that every four years our employers are getting a free day of employment out of us. We are, in effect, working an extra day without pay! The cost will be minimal and the good will would go a long way.If the 29th falls on a weekend it should be taken on the closest Friday or Monday.
