Make it law that all future governments must maintain defence spending at a minimum level of 2% of GDP, as agreed with our NATO partners. The last SDR has left this country with massive capability gaps which, if left, leave us unable to properly defend our nation. Current plans to cut the size of the regular forces further degrade our abilities to meet our defence obligations
