The school year and length of school day should be adjusted (eg no holidays longer than 3 weeks - school day of 9-5) in order that firstly, children in their last 4 years of education experience how the real world works; and secondly, so that feral children are not roaming the streets for weeks on end whilst their parents/so called carers go to work.
