Petition Engaging Young Persons in Industry through coordination of current initiatives
More details
Responsible department: Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
There is a lot of noise around engaging young persons in industry, unfortunately there appears to be little coordination
Lack of clear communication, duplication of effort and ineffective actions are major costs which result in demotivating our youth
I call on the UK Government to engage with the Prince's Trust and appoint them to initiate a project in which the Prince's Trust coordinates the activities of all stakeholders working with all young persons to bring a realistic vision for each child be it University or apprenticeships in the interests of UK's youth and the UK.
Only by working together towards a UK vision of youth engagement will we sustain this Great country of ours.
The UK Government should appoint the Prince's Trust to oversee the project to engage young persons in meaningful roles.
