Closed Medallic recognition for those injured in the armed forces of the crown

It is proposed that HM Government award medallic recognition for members of the armed forces disabled in the service of the crown.
A proposed medal to be awarded to all men and women who are in receipt of a war pension (therefore have been recognised as being disabled due to their service to the crown). This country offers no such medal although other commonwealth countries such as Canada do honour their disabled servicemen and women in this way.
