Rodenticides are sold in almost any shop in the UK. As it is Poison effects a large proportion of non target species, The Governments predatory monitoring scheme last year reported 100% of Kestrels and more then 90% of Barn Owls and Red kites were contaminated with poisons, also foxes, stoats, weasels and Hedgehogs are are also contaminated. Poison should be banned from public sale as it is often misused, left out in the open killing birds, wildlife and even domestic pets. It is also used for malicious purposes with people deliberately killing pets. Poison should not be so easy to get hold of
