Rejected petition Allow Water Cannon during Riot Conditions on UK streets

We need a strong response when Anarchy breaks out on our streets. The UK police forces need the ability to respond robustly to rioting individuals which protects the innocent and quickly restores order.The current situation where our police have their hands well and truly tied must end and we must have an ability to restore order quickly and limit the damage to individuals and property. Water cannon is used in Norther Ireland and by a number of our European partners it is time our Police Forces had the same capacity to quickly end civil disorder.
