Rejected petition Compulsory military service

from looking at the recent london riots, the young seem to be lacking in discipline, character and respect. if there were to be a level of compulsory military service for such people who have taken part in the riots, i believe it will not only act as a deterrent, but a better place for them to develope as a person rather than just putting them prison. seeing as they have nothing better to do than to make our country look bad.
