We, the law abiding citizens of this country, petition the government to take much stronger measures to control the recent outbreaks of thuggery, arson, looting and criminality in our towns and cities. These measures to include arming the police, importing water cannon from Ireland with immediate effect, using the army to help patrol the cities and imposing curfews if necesary. Also that the courts should deal with the offenders with the utmost severity, if necessary, changing the law to include the offence of looting, which should carry a heavy penalty.
