Age 18 - 25 male and female.
Minimum serving time - 18 months.
Anyone born within the UK, given citizenship, right to a British passport, indefinite right to remain. ie if you believe you have a right to be in the country.

To debate properly the real need to bring back some form of National Service and put it to the public for a referendum, with consultation on what the public would like to see as National Service.
