To use the removal of ALL benefits as a punishment to deter rioting and looting .
Obviously many people convicted of Rioting may be employed and not in receipt of benefits, in this case the normal routes of punishment may be followed.
In the cases that the rioters are under the age of Adulthood then the responsible adult who has parental custody of that child should in proxy lose all benefits to do and not to do with the child. This in turn should make parents retain control of the said children.
