Conscription for all UK male residents. weather british nationals or not. from ages 18 to 30.
if person has left school at 16 with no job offers or further education they should legally have to sign up within 3 months. those with a-levels at 18 should be offered degree courses via the MOD.
opportunity to stay on after compulsory 3 years. this will increase to 5.5 years compulsory if degree course is paid for by MOD.
