For those convicted of looting and rioting hand down sentences of years not months to make the punishment fit the crime and show that if you throw a brick at someone of a petrol bomb that is attempted murder and nothing less. These people have no excuse at all other than greed for what they are doing, for to long the law has allowed these gangs to do as they like in the cities and this is the consequence.
