British (UK & N.Ireland) police officers should be given increased powers to deal with aggressive criminals. Powers would include use of rubber bullets, introduction of tasers and increased use of tear gas and heavier/longer batons.

Also, a more suitable specialised riot force should be developed and be able to be easily deployed when necessary.

This petition is in response to the aggression surrounding the 2011 London riots.
