Rejected petition Jail parents if their children commit crimes

I think it's time the government stopped leaving the responsibility of bringing up well balanced, nurtured and respectful children just to the discretion of their parents.

The recent riots across the U.K. have shown, we have a whole generation of children with no respect for law and order - what example will they set when they become parents? What the outlook for future generations?

It's time the government played more of a hand in ensuring that children are brought up on the right side of the law and with respect for their elders and authority.

I say send mum or dad jail for a couple of weeks if their child commits an offence.

This would cut youth crime, and make for a better future generation.
