Petition Research and Investment into the LRAD Sonic Crowd Control Device

The police of the UK should be saluted for their bravery against the anger and rage projected at them, many of the police being our brothers, sisters, family and friends.

There is a thin line between police brutality and maintaining peace, however I believe this Device is a possible answer.

Using a LRAD, would mean that the police would require far less physical conflict. It would help direct the crowd, and also provide a way for much smaller police teams to disperse much larger crowds where they are confronted.

This is a much less aggressive approach, and as long as research is invested in to ensure that these devices can minimise the possiblity of serious ear/hearing problems, I think the sacrifice overweighs the anarchist scenes we have seen in the past few days.

I hope that our Government have a serious look at this, and also this petition recieves the support that it deserves.
