Rejected petition Allow all UK police to carry & use taser guns

We should make it compulsary for all British police officers across all forces to be trained in the use of Taser guns in order to protect the public and there property.

They should be allowed to carry them at all times as a visual deterrent to criminals and permitted to use them in circumstances where an individual is being violent and threatening, unwilling to comply with the law and resisting arrest, posing a danger to themself and others and to public property.

Giving all police officers (not PCSO's) the ability to use such a device as a deterrent is the next course of action our country needs to embrace in order to subdue criminals, to help protect the public and officers of the law.
