Closed petition Support the right to opt out of x-ray whole body scanners within the UK

Closed on

Recent government legislation, under the aviation security act 1982, means that any passenger - regardless of age - who declines to be scanned will be denied travel, and will not be given an alternative means to prove their lack of concealment. We the below wish the government to abandon their no opt out legislation currently enforced, and believe that an alternative means of passing through airport security should be provided.
