Petition unmarried mothers right to have her deceased partners name on their childs birth certificate

More details

When a partner dies it is distressing, but when you are pregnant it becomes even more so.
There is so much to sort out,but add that to antenatal appointments and scans etc and it can all get too much.
What is too much is having to deal with the pressure of all of this only to be told you are not legally allowed to put the fathers name on the birth certificate!
It is legal to do this if you are married or have been inseminated after your partner/husband died, but not if you are unmarried.
I am looking for a change in law to accept unmarried women in these circumstances the same rights as married ones.
I am also looking for the law to realise that death is not a choice and happens whether or not you are pregnant, so why are unmarried women singled out and portrayed as immoral characters?
Death is a henious time for anyone, no-one needs the added stress of this!
