The use of water cannons should be standard practice after a verbal warning by loudspeaker has been ignored. They should be warned to stop violence & looting by loudspeaker first, then if they don't, use water cannons.
But politicians must also advertise locally & have community meetings to discuss any major issues after mob events, for freedom of speech issues.
