Adopting British Summer Time all year round (or even opting for Central European Time) would maximise the use of daylight hours for commercial efficiency, increasing leisure and well-being activities and would according to RoSP reduce the number of accidents.

Scotland could quite easily retain the current system if they desired as different time zones across land boundaries work well in many parts of the world.
