Rejected petition Bring back the National Service and make 18 to 25 year olds join the services

By bring back the national service, all young men between the age of 18 and 25 would be made to join the army, navy or air force, for a minimum of 12 months.

The benefits of doing this will be as follows. It gives all young men discipline, confidence, future prospects to include employment and drive. Also should our country ever go to war, most of the nation will know how to defend it. This would also prevent anti social behaviour.
