Rejected petition National Service for petty criminals & Repeat offenders

With over crowding in prisons and petty criminals receiving mere slaps on wrists, I propose that such people (petty criminals & repeat offenders) be entered into compulsory 'National Service' whereby the said perpetrators would carry out 4 years service within British Forces Tri-Sevices.

Having potentially served on the front line and learnt new skills and a trade, these people MAY begin to value both themselves and their country, thus creating, hopefully a better society and better generations for the future of our country.
