The Government should increase the Powers of Ombudsmans, such as the Local Government Ombudsman and the Parliamentry Ombundsman, so they can investigate any matter relating to schools under local LEAs, all Council and Government matters.

These checks and balances are now more important, as the media checks and balance no longer appear to be working. People need confidnece in these Government bodies.
