Rejected petition Persons aged between 18 and 25 should be senteneced to 1 years national service

It s time young people that are convicted of a crime are treated differently. They need guidance and support. Look at the recent riots, disaffected young people they need to be taught respect or others and self respect. I belive a 1 years sentence to a National Service(not boot camp) type sentece that would be secure but wich would give young people focus and a sense of purpose. Providing the do gooders are kept away. Above all it should be constructive abd well run.
