Petition Right to self - defence MUST be enshrined into U.K. Law

The recent riots in England have proven, beyond all doubt, that the Government & police are incapable of protecting us in times of desperate need.
The un-deniable basic Human Right to be able to defend ourselves, our family, property and community MUST be enshrined into UK law ASAP.
We MUST be allowed to use force, including lethal force if necessary, to repel any attack or threat of violence.
Self Defence needs to be re-instated as a "good reason" for FAC & SGC applications.
We must be immune from prosecution except in cases were massively excessive force is used to repel an attack.
