Due to the recent riots and criminal activites commited, if the person is over 16 years of age who is unemployed and on benefits, instead of a custodial sentence or given community service or having their benefit stopped they should be sentenced as punishment to join the British Army where they will get disiplined and for the most serious crimes once trained in the Army they should be sent to Afganistan or Iraq. This should be made part of the law when sentencing criminals in the future for rehabilitation purposes.
