Rejected petition mandatory prison sentance for all rioters

We have seen in Nottingham yesterday the first rioters getting off witha £60 fine. The judge stated that it was the government not the judiciary that were setting these guidleines. Yet in London we are seeing the judges adopting a harder approach holding rioters in custody.

Government should take action now to ensure all judges nationwide are using maximum sentancing and ensuring all rioters receive a custodial sentence.
