You know how this country has a serious problem with street crime?

Well, stop me if you think this is silly, but how would it be if we put police officers back on the beat, where they used to be in my Fifties’ childhood when street crime was almost unheard of?

And wouldn’t it have the added advantage that officers could get to know their patch and keep an eye on the local troublemakers?

So sign this petition please and lets get the streets safe again.
