In the entire history of democracy it has been shown that secrecy has lead to the greatest acts of civil injustice. Confidentiality has allowed an entire area of public service to become unfit for purpose. This one step will not only will make children safer from revenge attacks and abuse, but the freakcomic impact of "both parent's" having to be reasonable and responsible, will benefit our society as a whole.
