Creating a new rail tunnel link between Scotland and Northern Ireland (suggest Portpatrick to Larne) would allow freight and passengers to flow freely throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Technically it would be no longer than the Channel Tunnel and would offer the same commercial benefits.
