This petition was submitted during the 2015–2017 Conservative government

Rejected petition MAKE IT SAFER FOR OUR KIDS NEAR SCHOOL. PUT A ZEBRA CROSSING ON BRUCE AVENUE.

Bruce avenue is the road ALL children have to pass to get to Worsbrough Common Primary School and rising stars children's centre. There is NOTHING in place to safely get our children across the road to the school. The school holds hundreds of pupils & NEEDS our support to make it safe for our kids!

More details

Worsbrough common school has expanded recently and is again expanding this September 2015, enabling the school to hold hundreds of pupils (Not including rising stars children).
There has been too many "near misses" where children are concerned recently and it is described as chaotic at peak times around the school entrance. This petition is being started to get the council to provide a zebra crossing to make it safer for our children to cross the road to school. Please sign this petition.
