Rejected petition Railways to be renationalised, end UK having the highest rail prices in Europe.

The UK pays the most expensive rail fares in Europe. Season tickets and other regulated fares have steamed ahead by 25% since 2010, while average pay has only gone up by 9%.
If railways were renationalised season tickets would be 10% cheaper by 2017 and save 1.5 billion within 5 years.
