Closed The UK Government must work with the EU to create safe havens for refugees

The Greek Islands are being inundated with refugees .Some islands eg Symi are fundraising to provide essential water,food and clothing and medical supplies.This is a fantastic effort but the refugees need safe havens within the EU for them to be taken.The Greek Islands are too small for this.

For evidence see what is happening on just one island in the Dodecanese which is near Turkey. Solidarity Symi is working hard to help these refugees but more refugees are arriving every day
