Petition Remove the current procedure for the PGCE Skills test - Literacy and Numeracy

To withdraw the literacy and numeracy tests for PGCE applications. We are losing talented trainee teachers because of these QTS tests. The government requires you to wait two years to re-sit these tests so in effect your career is deferred for two years regardless of your teaching practice.

These tests in no way reflect your quality of teaching and your ability as a teacher. They shouldn't be solely based on literacy and numeracy and ignore your level of academic entry grades and teaching experience.
