The Star and Garter is a 212 year old Grade 2 listed building adjacent to Piccadilly Station. It has operated as a live music venue, nightclub, film set and exhibition/conference venue since 1990. In 2016 it will have to close for the Northern Hub Project, so the owners are being forced to sell.

London and Continental Railways and Manchester City Council are in partnership to redevelop the Mayfeild Railway Station which sits behind the Star and Garter; http://bit.ly/1KVxd3l

The Star and Garter will be sold on for profit once the development(s) are complete. The owners are being forced to sell now or face a CPO.
