Closed petition Fully address tax loopholes. Tackle corporate tax avoidance and tax evasion.
Closed on
The 2015 budget sets out that a feeble £5bn will be saved by tackling tax avoidance when it's estimated that failure to close tax gaps costs the UK economy £120bn per year. It's inexcusable that the deficit is being managed by reducing welfare spending and cutting public services. Stop the cuts.
Cuts to welfare spending are short-sighted and irresponsible. Britain has more billionaires per head than any other country in the world. Immigration contributes positively to our economy but is frequently blamed for pressures on services which is wrong. We're a wealthy, badly managed country.
