Calculating the BMI for 5 year olds in a waste of time and inaccurate. There is no clinical judgement and no follow up of any concerns identified correct or not so what it the point? it is time to stop wasting time with numbers and get back to school nurses who get to know the children and identify correctly any concerns not just what a graph dictates with no review.
