Closed Governmental intentions of military action should always be taken to referendum

When politicians vote on military action within another country, like the current Syria & IS situations, it should be taken to an electorate referendum.

MPs are always stating that 'their constituents' and UK citizens are apparently in support of their choice, so why not let us show our choices
