Closed Stop giving Essure (a permanent method of sterilisation) on the NHS

Women in the UK are being given Essure and told that it is a safe, non-surgical, permanent method of sterilisation. They are not being told about the potential side effects.

A recent study published in the BMJ has found that there may be safety issues with Essure. Essure should no longer be used in the NHS.
