Petition The Financial Ombudsman Service is unaccountable and should be scrapped ASAP!

Relying on the FOS will probably result in disappointment and frustration. Worse is that it could be one of the biggest financial mistakes you'll ever make.
Why? Well the answer lies with the paymasters. As the saying goes, "a dog doesn't bite the hand that feeds it"!
