Closed MPs should not earn money or otherwise work outside of their role as MP

Too often MPs work for the benefit of private industries instead of for the public good. Being an MP should be a privilege, an opportunity to serve. While an MP's salary should not be so low as to exclude people from less well off backgrounds it should not be a subsidy for careerists.
