More details

In 2008 they set up a visa consultancy.
In 2009 they were arrested.
In 2014 they were convicted of simple illegal recruitment and estafa. It was never proved that they recruited anyone, but the judge convicted them on a technicality, they never had a licence to process work visas. They had bad advice from the poea, who said they never needed a licence.
They are now awaiting their appeal for executive clemency. And Kevin will be deported never to see his girls again. Kevin's almost blind.
