Closed petition Re-open the Railway line from Butterley
Closed on
I would like the UK Government to consider reopening the former Midland Railway line that ran from Butterley to Derby which also linked up with the Ambergate to Pye Bridge railway line
I believe reopening the section of the line between Butterley and Pye Bridge has huge benefits.
I think the top authority for the county of Derbyshire, which is Derbyshire County Council should back this petition, because something needs to be done in order to reopen this railway line, and bring back trains to the area!
Trains are needed in this area, in order to reconnect this part of the county that hasn't had a train pass through it in over fifty years!
