Rejected petition Enforce a price freeze on Premier League match tickets from the 2016/17 season.
A new television rights deal was announced last year that will be worth £5.1 billion to Premier League clubs. This means that clubs can afford to fill their stadiums every match without charging fans, and still be making more money than last year.
More details
In light of this new TV deal, it is about time that fans were rewarded for their continued loyalty. Many have recently struggled to keep up with the cost of supporting their team. As our national sport, it is essential that we keep the passion and support of every day fans alive, as they are a fundamental reason the Premier League is so successful.
